Welcome

Hello and welcome!

Have you recently been promoted to a leadership role and are not sure where to begin? Is a big speech at a wedding or a presentation at work looming in your future? Or perhaps you feel like you could improve your analytical reading, writing, and listening skills?

Rest assured – you are not alone. We all know from personal experience how scary it can be to take risks. And, how thrilling it is to overcome challenges. Toastmasters is a great place to experiment and take steps you did not think were possible. Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. It has helped millions of people become stronger speakers, communicators, and leaders.

Join the Talk of the Towers Toastmasters club and grow with us in an open, inclusive, and supportive environment. We have a fun, positive culture that fosters genuine success. For many years, our club has been assisting hundreds of people to find their own powerful voice and make extraordinary progress in public speaking, greatly enhancing their personal and professional lives.

This is not a classroom environment. We learn from each other, and we learn by doing. Our members span a broad range of backgrounds, ages, skills and talents, each of us progressing at our own pace, aiming to push our game to a higher level.

A typical meeting has a lively, structured agenda with many speaking opportunities, including prepared and impromptu speeches, keynote presentations, debates, and panel discussions. All receive honest and constructive feedback in real time.

Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have or visit us and see if we are a good fit for you. We promise to support you on this exciting journey.

They taught me that it’s okay to be nervous. It’s about taking that nervous energy and turning it into positive energy. Toastmasters is really good at helping you build confidence.
